Q: Will my fiance and I meet with you before our wedding day?
A: Absolutely! I want to meet with you and learn all about your wedding. I’ll tell you more about me, show you more of my work, and learn more about you, your personality, and your particular needs and desires.
Q: What makes you different from other photographers I see on the Internet?
A: Photography is a very personal thing to me. It’s not a “job.” I take being a Professional Photographer very seriously. In many ways, it is art to me! I am always trying to capture the little differences that make an otherwise “good” photo into an INCREDIBLE photo. Sometimes it’s only a subtle difference, but makes ALL the difference in the world. Only a Professional Photographer can do that and only after years of experience and hard work!
Q. Do you have backup equipment in case your camera breaks?
A: Absolutely. First, I use the most professional photography equipment available in the marketplace today. It is extremely reliable. I shoot 100% digital and I have the most current lighting (and lighting makes a HUGE difference in your final photos). I always have a back-up camera, flash, and other appropriate equipment. You have nothing to worry about when you hire me!
Q. Do you work alone or do you have an assistant to help you?
A. I always have an assistant with me and I think that makes a huge difference. It makes a photo shoot go so much more smoothly and also allows me to focus my full attention on you – my client!
Q. If I hire you as my photographer, when it comes to the day of my wedding are you going to send someone else?
A. If you hire me you get me – Chantal! You will not get anyone else but me. I only shoot one wedding a day and that allows me to focus and devote all my time to you on your special day.
Q. Why should I hire a professional photographer for my wedding, I have a cousin with a fairly good camera who said he would do my photography!
A. I’ve talked to too many brides who said they made this horrible mistake. Remember, you can’t “re-shoot” your wedding. You would hire me because you want THE BEST. When you hire a Professional Photographer you hire them for their skill, creativity, experience in different situations, properly setting up poses, capturing candid moments, adjusting to different lighting (indoors, outdoors, shadows, etc.), properly balancing colors, and of course the final product – PERFECT pictures that you will adore the rest of your life.
Q: How much do you charge for a wedding?
A: Each wedding I shoot is as unique as the bride and groom are – no two are ever the same! Most couples also have different requirements, desires, and needs. As a result, I don’t have a “one-price” wedding. Pricing and packages start at $1899. Q: How soon after my wedding will I get to see my photos?
A: You can expect your photos in about three weeks.
Q: Can you help me make a coffee table book from my wedding photos?
A: Yes I can. I will be glad to give you my professional advice on creating a coffee table book with your wedding pictures. I can discuss all the options available to you, and show you examples, when we meet.
Q: How far in advance are you booked?
A: Many of the brides and grooms I work with have booked a full year in advance.
Q: Is a deposit required to hold my wedding date?
A: Yes, a deposit is required to reserve and hold your date.
Q: Do you offer engagement photography sessions?
A: Yes I do. We can discuss this when we speak on the phone or when we meet!
Q: Do you charge for travel?
A: Most of the clients I work for are “local” and do not require extra travel. If I have to travel beyond two hours we can discuss any charges that might be related to travel.
