Anyone who follows my blog or Facebook page, has probably figured out by now, that Julie is one of my regular clients.
She’s had 3 beautiful children in the past 5 years, Benoit, Vincent and Alexann. You can image the amount of trips she has made to my studio for her children’s portraiture. Soon I will have to give her, a private parking spot!!!
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to get to know Julie and develop a trusting and loyal friendship with her. She’s always been there if I needed a testimonial or a model for a project.
One thing I have learned is that she is simple and her children mean the world to her.
Growing up, Julie lost her mom at the age of 8 therefore she doesn’t have many photos of her. Capturing her children, on a yearly basis, is very important to her.
This week she came in to select Alexann’s first anniversary photos. I asked Julie why it was so important to have captured that first year. She said it was because children change so much during the first year and she wants to be able to celebrate and remember every moment.
What about going to a professional photographer as opposed to a local chain store?

Now it was Tristan’s time to be in the spotlight. At 2 weeks old, he is already a ‘BIG’ boy with nice porcelain skin. I’m sure when he grows up, he will be a good candidate for different sports!!!
The first 40 minutes of the session he was fussy and eventually fell asleep. We managed to dress him up as a bunny, a football player, a bear, a dog and so much more, before he woke up.

Avery’s mom saw my work on “Shauna’s Bowtique” Facebook page and thought it would be a great idea to have some girly girl photos done of her daughter to mark her first year anniversary.
Avery is gorgeous and has big brown attractive eyes. It was hard for her mom to make her selection.
I was excited to try out some new props such as this chair and tutu.
This photo will look awesome in Avery’s room and I’m sure will be cherished forever
