Ottawa Newborn Photographer – Tips to help you get ready for your Newborn Session

Soon you will finally be holding your little bundle of joy! In a matter of days and weeks, this new baby will transform before your eyes into a chubby, grinning infant.

A newborn session is a wonderful way to commemorate that phase, and it usually takes place during the second week that your baby is home from the hospital.

Many mothers are eager to document their brand new child, but might have some insecurities with their post-baby body. This is a common concern, but the newborn session is not complete without a beaming, proud new mother. Here are some tips to help you look and feel your best during this important session with your little one.

Ottawa Photographer – 5 Mistakes People make when Hiring a Portrait Photographer

1) Clash of personalities. If you don’t get along or like each other, what will the end results look like?

2) Hiring without a contract. The “He said, She said” might cause many headaches. It’s best for both parties to have a written agreement.

3) Thinking all photographers have equal standards and understanding of their clients. Not understanding what you have signed for, can cause problems. Hiring a part-time photographer might not give you the same value, service or quality as the experienced full-time photographer.

4) Hiring a photographer who does not specialize in what you are looking for. A sport’s photographer might not be good at capturing portraits.

5) Thinking of getting your images on DVD is much better than printed images. With technology changing so often, your DVD could become obsolete. Your wall artwork will always be there for you to admire and share with people who come to your home.

Orleans Baby Photographer – A Mother’s Joy

A mother’s joy begins when new life is stirring inside. When a tiny heartbeat is heard for the very first time and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone.

The body is busy creating life. The most magical and mysterious creation of all.

It is easy to get caught up in the daily grind and nine months pass by quickly.

Berline and Elvis were expecting their 3rd child and did not want to miss the opportunity to share this time in their life with a maternity session. Their baby was 1 month away and it was important to commit to the session.

I was getting ready to leave for a conference in Vegas when I received a request for Berline’s maternity session. Our agendas did not seem to correspond together, but in the end, this session was important to Berline and she managed to switch appointments in her busy schedule to make this happen.

Berline was glowing, Elvis was happy and their son Aurele was able to miss school and be part of the moment.

Arianne arrived and the family was back for the newborn session. She sure is a daddy’s little girl. Every time she was held by him she would be calm and relaxed. These tender moments captured will be preserved forever.
